Meet Bethany

Bethany first fell in love with dance at the age of 8 when she saw a children’s performance of the Nutcracker. At the age of ten she enrolled in ballet classes at Ballet San Antonio (formerly known as Mayra Worthen Ballet). She spent the next several years in intensive classical ballet training before dancing pre-professionally with San Antonio Metropolitan Ballet and finally joining the professional company, Ballet San Antonio. She has performed roles in the Nutcracker, Cinderella, A Midsummer Nights Dream, and many other dance pieces by various choreographers. After a few years performing with the company, she earned her Bachelors of Science from Texas State University. After getting married and having 2 children of her own, Bethany found her way back to her first love, dance! She has been sharing her passion and passing on her love for the arts ever since.
