Meet Shep

Mr. Shepherd Allen is a Texas born Hip Hop dancer and choreographer. At the early age of 14 he started assisting and teaching at local studios which helped him develop his own distinct style: encompassing many different genres of hip hop and contemporary dance. In his teens & 20’s he started traveling and teaching in various cities across the US.  He has appeared on SYTYCD twice and danced with many famous performers & musicians.  His career spans 25 yrs of traveling and educating dancers of all ages, many of whom have gone on to become professional career dancers and instructors as well as owners/directors. His current mission is keeping the passion in dance and launching true artists on an individual level while cultivating growth within his own dance community.  Mr Shep is also a Dad to 9 year old Sophia, the light of his life.  You can find him at PAIYH teaching Hip Hop levels 1 and up, and directing our Hip Hop Team.
